Lesson learned

If you stay up late and eat a whole bag of President's Choice Wasabi and Honey Rice Chips and wash it down with a Vex Pink Hard Lemonade vodka cooler while reading a Laurell K. Hamilton 'Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter' novel in bed, you have no one but yourself to blame when your dreams are full of zombies and you get hardly any sleep and wake up looking like one of the decaying undead yourself. Only without the all the cool choreography.

The nice thing is, you are an adult and can choose what you want to do. It sounds like it was fun (except for the dreams).

I really liked the Anita Blake books until they turned into porn. I mean, I don't object to sex in books, but somewhere along the way, there started being all these bizarre, lurid sex scenes throughout. Turned me off, paradoxically. : )

  3. Hmmm, I'm only on the second book in the series, and there's no sex to speak of. Yet.

  4. Ooh I did the same thing last night with a bag of PC multigrain tortilla chips (black bean and salsa flavour)

except I drank about a gallon of water because those suckers are SPICY

and then I had this horrible nightmare about Cindy McCain.

So basically the same thing, right?

  6. Wasabi and Honey? I haven't seen those yet. I will have to hunt them down once I can eat again.

Based on Bill's comment I think you need to hurry up and get to the other books:)

  7. I'm sorry about the weird dreams, but wasabi and honey chips?? Oh my. I need some!

  8. I always have weird dreams. Probably because I always seem to watch or read something weird before I go to sleep. Is that a good book? I love Buffy, but I haven't found a vampire book I like yet.

I wonder if you can get those chips here? I don't tend to remember my dreams very often, so it would be OK if they caused bad dreams :-)

I remember when the "Thriller" video debuted. It was incredible. And? I'm really trying hard not to eat or drink anything late at night. Not because of the nightmares, but because of the fat.

  11. You're lucky you'd only get weird dreams. I'd get weird dreams and gas.

  12. Hard lemonade and rice chips? Whatever happened to the good old beer and Doritos days? Seriously, if you're going to have nightmares and feel like crap in the morning, why not go all the way?

  13. LOL! That video used to scare the beegezus out of me when I was younger!

  14. Might have to check that book out when I'm done with the Twilight series.

    Those chips sound yummy too.
