I got nothing

Except a new camera! (Thanks, Dad!)

I opened it up and started playing with it while I was at home and the girls were at school, so, the only family member available for portrait work was Max.

I'm working on a post about the 2010 Paralympic Canadian Men's Sledge Hockey team, who we saw play in Carp this week, and one about skiing, but they aren't done yet.

So you get cat pictures.

I'd say sorry, but he's pretty cute. Especially when he's not gnawing my leg.

  1. Even the most innocuous photos of your cat scare me.

  3. Yeah, he looks like he's saying "when you least expect it..." Nah, actually he looks insanely adorable. Or maybe adorably insane.

  4. I got nothing either. January and February are a bitch. Blogging? Pfft, it takes all my energy to get through the day, I don't have the brain power to blog.

  5. Jen and Allison - Seriously, all he seemed to be saying was, "I'm *sleepin'* here", in his best Dustin Hoffman 'Midnight Cowboy' manner. He's only a little bit evil, and not really scary at all.

Jazz - I so know what you mean.

Do Max's eyes ever get really big and totally black and then his ears flatten down the side of his head? When Bazel gets like that he's totally scary because then he's out for blood (literally). Sometimes I'm afraid he will eat my face during the night like that French lady whose dog ate her face and she had to get a face transplant.

  7. Sometimes Max flattens his ears and arches his back and then kind of hops sideways. That's his cue that he wants to play 'chase'. I chase him and he runs, then I run away and he chases me. Only *I* hardly ever bite *his* leg when I catch him.

He only does love bites though. So I don't worry about face eating. I guess Bazel is just hard core and could kick Max's butt.

  8. He seems not to be "working with you" on this photo shoot. Are you sure you've got the lens trained on his best side?

We should get them together sometime...somehow and see what happens. Bazel has never been around another cat since he left the litter.

  11. Aw, he's adorable, although the first two pictures have a sort of Garbo-esque "I vant to be alone" quality to them... :)

We've secretly switched Alison's pool boy with a Ninja Cat. Let's see if she notices....
