Ah, Internet, you never let me down

I totally called it.  Yes, I did.  Last month, in this post, when I said:
In later years I wondered why he didn't just freeze the goat semen and ship it Fedex to Cali, but he didn't, and now I have this great anecdote, and, as an added bonus, will probably see "frozen goat semen" show up as a search string for hits on my blog, which will totally reaffirm my belief in the weirdness of the Internet.

I'm still working on the story of my Friday the 13th trip to Ithaca to meet up with Mrs. G. and GaryStay tuned for my next post featuring me getting lost in Hamilton, trying not to be snarky to border guards, and escaping a zombie apocalypse!!!

(OK, so there was no zombie apocalypse.  I just want it to sound exciting.)

(But there were Timmy's coffee shops in New York (!), which, while not technically as exciting as a zombie apocalypse, was pretty exciting to me.)

(I lead a sheltered life.)

(I'm stopping now.)

(Honest.)

  1. It's the search string right above frozen goat semen that got my attention. :-) (Yes, I remember the post in question.)

    1. I think I will have to search on that string myself, just to make sure that there aren't any Daniel Craig almost naked (or actually naked) shower scenes that I've missed.

  2. You and your daughters were indeed one of the best things to happen to us this year, you are DELIGHTFUL folks :) Spike cat and Penny beagle think so too! Timmys is new here. Ithaca got one last year, Cortland last year, and I hear that there are a few in Michigan and other border areas here in NY. The coffee is now for sale in the grocery store too. Funkin' gonuts is sh!tty. Starbucks has awesome coffee. mcDonalds is sh!tty. Tim's is right there in the middle, a good middle ground, nice coffee, good snacks. Canadians are so awesome :0

    1. Thanks, Gary! We really liked you too! Timmy's is good middle-of-the-road coffee that fuels most of Canada, lol. Well, that and Timbits. :)

  4. Search terms are an endless source of entertainment. I keep meaning to do a round-up post. Some of my faves: "rambling garbonzo", "drunken nudity", and "stick here". Sure wish I knew what they were looking for in the last one. Or "codage meenabo" for that matter.

    1. I'm trying to envision a rambling garbonzo. And I'm curious to know what post of yours showed up when someone typed 'codage meenabo' into Google.
