    1. Thanks! Hey, how are things in Oakville? I hope you and the family are enjoying summer in the new(ish) digs.

  4. I should like to point out that as a practical man with severe scientific skills you ladies are putting your eyes in danger.

Looking at the Sun through a magnifying glass is not to be recommended as it generally fries your retinas into what looks like overdone black pudding.

As regards the picture of the Venus de Milo (never figured out why they would call a statue after a chocolate drink) being transported on an Orion 1991 V with the Powertrain of Detroit Diesel 6V92TA with Allison B-400R 5-speed. This is a much esteemed picture of a rare example of the venerable Orion V, as used in Toronto and Quebec, and the entire membership of the Orion Bus Fan Club is indebted to you. I have no idea why such a valuable statue would be in transit without visible restraints, but I suppose not everyone is as careful as I am.

    1. Apparently the Orion V is also used by OC Transpo, the transit company serving Ottawa, the nation's capital, as I pinched a photo of one of their buses to make this picture. I notice, on further examination, that this particular bus is 'hors service' which means that poor Venus is out of luck with the form of transit she's chosen.

    2. I would have thought that with 'hors service', Venus might have felt right at home.

  5. First: SNORT. Ouch.

SECOND: Venus is NOT IN ORION. I don't care what Twisted Scotch Bastard says. I took Astronomy.

    1. First: Ha! The exact reaction I was going for!
Second: I never argue with someone who took Astronomy. Or Tae Kwon Do. :)
