Leah walks past me carrying several baby dolls that haven't been played with in a long time, two balls of yarn, and a roll of duct tape. I can hear Rae in the basement moving furniture around.
Me: "What's all that stuff for?"
Leah: "We're making a hostage camp."
Me: .......
Me [sighing heavily]: "I'm going to the liquor store."
Leah: "Cool. See you when you get back."
Now I want to play hostage camp... :/
ReplyDeleteMy advice? Insist on being a guard.
Delete...
ReplyDeleteI have no words, none at all.
Me either.
Deletemake it a double....
ReplyDeleteI'll drink to that. :)
Deletedamn, I love your kids!
ReplyDeleteWell, they keep me on my toes.
DeleteSheer awesomeness.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, that's one word for it. :)
DeleteTotally! :-)
DeleteJust wait until the Stockholm syndrome kicks in.
ReplyDeleteThey're going to need a lot of berets and sunglasses for the baby Patty Hearsts.
DeleteLSMMAFO
DeleteHave they seen Red Dawn (the old one, not the BS good-for-nothing, we-shall-not-speak-of-it remake)? Seems like it's about time they did. WOLVERINES!!!
ReplyDeleteNo, they haven't. Somehow I pictured the first Patrick Swayze/Jennifer Grey movie they'd see would be "Dirty Dancing" -- more Baby, fewer Wolverines. :)
DeleteI really adore your children.
